Miranda Goodwin
Miranda is a 26-year-old Life Saver from Currumbin Vikings Surf Life Saving Club. She was brought up on the Gold Coast participating insurf life saving since she was only 6 years of age.
Now she is a member of the Michael King Ironman academy and Currumbin Beach Vikings Surf Life Saving Club, training with elite athletes across surf lifesaving. Throughout her sporting career, she has accomplished the Coolangatta Gold twice, the 2010 Nutri-grain IronWomen Series, Australian Surf Ski Champion, World Molokai Ski Champion, Molokai Board crossing coming in fourth place, represented Australia at the Sanyo World Cup and most recently qualified for the 2019/20 Nutri-Grain Ironwomen Series. Miranda is a new mum to two beautiful boys, proudly and inspiringly making her the only mum of the nutri-grain series. She juggles the challenge of taking on the series with her young family, but with determination, motivation, passion and the love and support from her family & friends, she has pushed through to achieve her sporting goals.
