Biography
Ellen Fullerton has emerged over the past few years as one of Australia’s brightest swimming prospects.
Ellen boasts outstanding results from an early age and at only 19 years of age, recorded the highest medal tally at the 2009 Australian Age Nationals in Sydney with three gold, five silver and three bronze.
Continuing on from her success at the Australian titles, Ellen went on to claim victory in the 200m freestyle at the 2008 FINA World Cup in Sydney, setting the eighth fastest time for an Australian in the event. At the 2009 Junior Pan Pans in Guam, Ellen took home a gold, three silver and a bronze medal.
In 2010, Ellen represented Australia in the Australia ‘A’ team Canada tour – the youngest on the team. Ellen has continued her good form in 2011 by picking up double gold in the 200m and 400m Individual Medley’s at the Australian Short Course Championships.
Ellen is determined to make her mark on the International stage and has her sights on the 2012 London Olympic Games.
